SEADREAM YACHT CLUB’S 2015 HOLIDAY SAILINGS

-Enjoy the Season While Exploring the Caribbean-

MIAMI, August 20, 2015 – Rather than spending this holiday season hosting family and friends at home, SeaDream Yacht Club is encouraging guests to let their highly-trained chefs prepare seasonal fare while sailing the Caribbean’s most secluded destinations. While SeaDream’s 112-guest twin mega-yachts SeaDream I and SeaDream II are visiting exclusive ports larger ships cannot access, SeaDream’s chefs will source ingredients from each destinations local purveyors whenever possible to create menus that change daily. SeaDream Yacht Club was recently named “Best Niche Cruise Line” at the prestigious Virtuoso Awards and a holiday sailing is the ideal time to experience the award-winning service offered onboard.

“Our commitment to culinary excellence is well-known among the most discerning travelers for artfully prepared gourmet cuisine and outstanding beverage service,” shares President Bob Lepisto. “This holiday season is no exception and Executive Chef Ondrej Havlicek has crafted a menu sure to satisfy our epicurean-minded guests.”

Highlights from Thanksgiving dinner include slowly roasted tom turkey on bread stuffing served with green peas and silver onions in a cream sauce, asparagus, sweet mashed potatoes and gravy. For Christmas dinner, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy whole roast prime ribeye of beef with Yorkshire pudding and seasonal vegetables served with Burgundy gravy. Guests also have the option to choose from the always-available specialty menus including the Raw Food and Japanese Menus.

SEADREAM YACHT CLUB CELEBRATES ISLAND-HOPPING AT ITS BEST

February 9th, 2015 by Adrienne d'Annunzio

MIAMI, (Feb. 4, 2015) – SeaDream Yacht Club’s 112-guest twin-mega yachts have spent the winter season calling on the small ports and boutique harbors of the Caribbean’s most beautiful islands. Now, as much of North America is still experiencing cold temperatures and snow, limited availability for a yachting escape is still available on Caribbean sailings. SeaDream I and SeaDream II will travel the islands through April 18 before making the crossing for their summer Mediterranean home.

“The 2015 season has taken our guests to more ports in the Caribbean than ever before.” shares President Bob Lepisto.  “Having both yachts has allowed us to offer unique sailings in the region, and limited space is still available on remaining March and April sailings.” Caribbean highlights include:

  • Terre-de-Haut, Îles des Saintes: Part of the Îles des Saintes group of Islands, Terre-de-Haut offers guests one of the most picturesque locales in the world. They will also enjoy views of the sister island, Îlet à Cabrit, the main island of Guadeloupe and the volcanic La Soufrière mountain, which reaches a height of 4,810 feet.
  • Charlestown, Nevis: A smaller, less commercial neighbor to St. Kitts, Nevis is a SeaDream favorite with dramatic views of the potentially active volcanic Nevis Peak. Whether exploring the island through one of the Land Adventures or relaxing on the beach, guests can experience the best of both worlds at Nevis.
  • Gustavia, St. Barts: A treasured destination in the Caribbean, Gustavia is a small island in the French West Indies with incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants and activities for both day and night. Guests can discover the island through the various SeaDream adventures or simply relax and watch the incredible yachts arriving and departing from the SeaDream yacht.
  • Tobago Cays: A cluster of five uninhabited islands, the Tobago Cays are home to lagoons full of green turtles, coral reefs, colorful fish and crystal clear waters. A film location of “Pirates of the Caribbean,” the Tobago Cays are an awe-inspiring island destination ideal for both scuba diving and relaxing on the beach.
  • Union Island, the Grenadines: Nicknamed the ‘Tahiti of the West Indies’ due to its volcanic silhouette, Union Island is the southernmost island of the Grenadines. Among the many restaurants and bars, Happy Island, a man-made island featuring a bar, sits in the middle of Clifton Harbor and is an absolute must-see for guests. Guests will also marvel at Mount Taboi, which at 999 feet above sea level is the highest peak on Union Island. Another key feature of the Union Island region is the Tobago Cays National Marine Park. The Tobago Cays are a group of small uninhabited islands surrounded by reefs, where SeaDream offers snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming.

Recently named the Best Small Luxury Cruise Ship of 2015 by ForbesLife, the SeaDream Yacht Club emphasizes relaxed luxury.  Guests can take advantage of the SeaDream Spa, with the highest therapist-to-guest ratio at sea.  Both SeaDream I and SeaDream II are also equipped with wave runners, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and many other watersports activities, all of which can be launched directly from the yachts’ Marina. While passengers sailing with other lines fight the crowds in larger ports, guests sailing with SeaDream Yacht Club enjoy unsurpassed experiences while visiting ports that only they can access.

2014/2015 CARIBBEAN SEASON SHORESIDE CASUALS

August 26th, 2014 by Adrienne d'Annunzio

SEADREAM YACHT CLUB HIGHLIGHTS SHORE SIDE CASUALS

FOR 2015 CARIBBEAN SEASON

MIAMI, Aug. 26, 2014 – SeaDream Yacht Club announces crew-led excursions for the fall and winter 2014/2015 season in the Caribbean’s most beautiful islands. Known as “shore side casuals” among past guests, the veteran crew onboard the 112-guest twin mega-yachts leads complimentary shore tours to their favorite spots in the Caribbean islands. The 1:1 crew-to-guest ratio of SeaDream and casual elegance onboard SeaDream I and SeaDream II affords flexibility to explore where large ships and formal tours seldom venture.

“The intimate size and casually elegant service onboard SeaDream gives guests a true yachting experience in the Caribbean,” shares Bob Lepisto, president of SeaDream Yacht Club. “That experience is equally delivered shore side as our the crew shares their favorite activities in the islands through one-of-a-kind shore excursions.”

With 10 mountain bikes onboard each mega-yacht, guests can bike to the secluded beaches including Flamenco Beach in Culebra, the intimate coves in Esperanza and Shoal Bay in Anguilla. Nature preserves like the Turtle Sanctuary in Bequia and watching the dolphins at Soper’s Hole are led by crew. For the most ambitious, a tour circumnavigating the island of Nevis or mountain biking to the bottom of Saba are popular ways to work off a delicious lunch. Guests on SeaDream this season can enjoy crew-led hikes on many of the smaller islands in the Caribbean.

One of the many highlights of shore side casuals includes an incredible hike on the tiny island of Culebrita.  Part of a wildlife refuge and located approximately one mile east of the island of Culebra, this tiny island is a nature lover’s paradise.  Led by a knowledgeable crewmember, guests will hike to the only remaining Spanish-era structure in the Culebra archipelago, which is also the only permanent structure on the island.  After taking in the views, guests will head to Playa Tortuga (Turtle Beach), which is named for the many sea turtles that use the beach for breeding grounds and surrounding waters for grazing.

SeaDream Yacht Club offers a myriad of crew-led, complementary shore excursions in numerous destinations giving guests many opportunities to explore their surroundings.  A walk through Old San Juan to the El Morro Fortress offers guests the chance to explore the region’s rich history, while a circumnavigation bike ride on the tiny island paradise of Nevis is one of many ways for guests to enjoy the unspoiled serenity of natural Caribbean settings.

With an emphasis on relaxed luxury, guests can take advantage of the SeaDream Spa, with the highest therapist-to-guest ratio at sea.  Both SeaDream I and SeaDream II are also equipped with wave runners, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards and many other watersports activities, all of which can be launched directly from the yachts’ Marina. While passengers sailing with other lines fight the crowds in larger ports, guests sailing with SeaDream Yacht Club will enjoy an experience like none other, visiting ports that only they can access.

Fully inclusive yachting fares begin at $3,999 based on double occupancy.  For inquiries, contact a travel professional or SeaDream Yacht Club at 1-800-707-4911 or visit www.seadream.com.
