La Manga & The Roman Theatre
Your SeaDream Land Adventure will allow you to discover La Manga del Mar Menor, you will also visit the fishing village of Cabo de Palos and the Roman Theatre in Cartagena. Meaning “the sleeve of the little sea”, La Manga Del Mar Menor holds an interesting geographical layout with is a chain that stretches along approximately 24 km (15 miles), from Cabo de Palos to the Punta del Mojón. This separation creates the salt water lake known as the Mar Menor or “little sea”. Arrive at Cabo de Palos, a charming fishing village situated at the south end of la Manga. Pause to take in the views and snap a few photographs of the lighthouse before exploring La Manga by motor coach. With a beach that is 21 km (13 miles) long and average of nearly one thousand feet wide, La Manga del Mar Menor is a popular destination for beach combers and sun worshipers. Drive back to Cartagena and visit the Roman Theatre. The magnificently restored Roman Theatre at Cartagena attracts large numbers of foreign and local visitors, since its discovery is not too long ago and there are constant reformation and restorations being done.
