Romanov’s Imperial Residences Catherine’s Palace in Pushkin and Parks of Peterhoff

This full-day SeaDream Land Adventure will allow guests to see the most spectacular summer residences of Romanov’s around St Petersburg in one day!!! Your comprehensive Land Adventure will cover the Palace of Catherine the Great, 25 km South from the city built in 1756 in beautiful baroque style by Bartolomeo Rastrelli. Its grandiose turquoise, white, and gold facade stretches 978 feet high. The palace contains a series of magnificent rooms, including the famous Picture Gallery, Great Hall and fully restored Amber Room.

Guests will be offered early entrance to the palace before official opening time.

After the palace visit you will continue to the fountain and park ensemble of Peterhof, an outstanding landmark of Russian artistic culture of the 18-19th centuries. Often called the "Capital of Fountains", Peterhof was founded in the very beginning of the eighteenth century by Emperor Peter the Great not far from his new northern capital St Petersburg. Peterhof was intended to become the most splendid official royal summer residence. Guests will travel from Catherine’s Palace to Peterhof by motor coach and enjoy a light lunch on the open-air terrace inside Peterhof parks. After lunch your Land Adventure continues in the parks where over 150 fountains can be enjoyed. You and your fellow guests will later return to the city by hydrofoil experiencing a 30 min ride through the Gulf of Finland to St Petersburg.
