Ports

  • Marigot

Marigot is the main town and capital on the French side of Saint Martin. The city of Marigot is perhaps the most French in spirit of all the cities in the Caribbean. Colonial houses stand beside smart cafés and bistros, pastry shops and luxury boutiques, and in many ways it looks just like any of the French market towns you might expect to find in Europe. At the southern end of town by the harbor is Marina Port la Royale. This area includes elegant stores with the latest in European designer fashions and fine jewelry, all duty and tax free. The entire city is only four streets wide, so it is very easy to get around. Marigot was made capital during the reign of King Louis XVI, who built Fort St. Louis on a hill near Marigot Bay. Today, that building is the most important in the city. SeaDream anchors off Marigot and offers several yachting land adventures as well as the possibility to play with the toys at the marina.

  • Gustavia

Perhaps our most treasured destination in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer our SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping only steps away from pier. Incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants and activities both day and night. SeaDream has created various land adventures for you to discover the island from sea or land. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Another great activity here is to simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing just off your SeaDream yacht.

  • Falmouth Bay

Falmouth Bay is a short walk from Nelson's Dockyard and the English Harbour. It is surrounded by historic buildings and mills. This harbor and quiet village has plenty of shops, restaurants and the yacht club. Historic sites, tasty cuisine and a lively cultural scene can all be found on Antigua. But most often it's the beauty and versatility of the island's 365 beaches that draw travelers from afar. Land Adventure possibilities include a helicopter ride over Montserrat, a jeep and snorkel safari and a St. John’s City and Shopping exploration.

  • Grande Anse

This little bay is located on the Southwest Corner of the island and does not see large cruise vessels. Only yachters, fisherman and occasionally SeaDream! Most travelers flock here for fishing charters, scuba diving or simply to relax. Guests will enjoy water sports and our Yachting Land Adventures shoreside.

  • Soufriere Bay

Soufriere, a small town on the South West Coast of Saint Lucia is considered by many as the island’s gem. The town and the surrounding region has a population of 8,000. Originally founded by the French it was the original capital of the island. Soufriere has a great deal to offer visitors including coral reefs, the rainforest, Diamond Falls, the sulfur springs, a “drive in” volcano and the ever popular and majestic twin pitons. Check the Land Adventure options as we feel certain you will enjoy them. You may also sit back in one of the Balinese dream beds and witness a beautiful sunset.

  • Rodney Bay

Rodney Bay is a bay on the North West coast of Saint Lucia; it is along the northwestern coast of the island to the north of Choc Bay. It is named after British naval officer George Brydges Rodney. We will anchor and offer tender service to one of the local bars or direct to the marina. Guests can enjoy the Yachting Land Adventures, water sports, the local beaches or a hike to Pigeon Island.

  • Port Elizabeth, Bequia

Bequia is the northernmost and largest of the Grenadines, just seven square miles of quiet lagoons, reefs, and long silvery stretches of beach. Among the first things you will notice are the colorful model boats set up on stands around the tiny harbor, representing the island's maritime history. SeaDream yachts anchor at Port Elizabeth and offer guests a scenic Land Adventure as well as sport fishing and a trip to the neighboring island of Mystique. If you are lucky enough to have a late call, don’t miss Mac’s Lobster Pizza.

  • Mayreau

This is one of SeaDream signature Champagne and Caviar Splash destinations in the Grenadines. This particular island is the smallest of the inhabited Islands and has two amazing beaches. Generally the team on board will offer guests a hike to Saltwhistle Bay.

  • Bridgetown

SeaDream uses the port of Bridgetown as the hub for their Southern Caribbean voyages as well as some of voyages that cross the Atlantic. The Island itself includes Unesco Heritage Sites, excellent beaches and history dating back to 1628. The climate is tropical with constant warm temperatures during the year cooled by light trade winds.

  • Marigot - The Zip-Line Lovers Zip Line - Extreme

    Description

Do you love zipping through treetops? Have you "done" zip lines before? Did you always feel that the zip lines were too short or too few? Did the rides always leave you wanting more? Then this is your kind of trip! This one is amazing! After being outfitted at the station at the bottom of the lush valley, an open-air truck takes you on a short drive up, almost to the top of the mountain. Soon you find yourself high above the regular fly-zone down below and enjoying spectacular views of Marigot and the verdant valley. Welcome to the "jungle." A short "practice" zip starts you off. From then on you begin to make your way down into the valley along longer zip lines, with some of them 50 to 60 feet (15-18 meters) above the ground. There are a couple of tightrope walks to break up the zipping but for the most part this is all about the exhilarating fun of zipping from tree to tree.

    Notes

Notes Participants should be in good physical condition, and must be at least 4.5 feet tall with a minimum weight of 110 pounds and a maximum weight of 240 pounds. The minimum age for participation on this adventure is 18! Wear comfortable clothing, closed footwear and try not to bring any kind of bags. You'll need both hands at all times to complete the course. Therefore, cameras are only recommended it they fit in your pocket and can be secured to prevent them from falling to the ground - bring them at your own risk. If you have long hair, we recommend that you bring a rubber band, or similar, to secure your hair in order to prevent it from getting entangled with the lines. As this adventure is above the ground - guests should not have a fear of heights. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures and some have limited capacity. All land adventures in the SeaDream Yachting Land Adventures program are subject to change. The price is subject to increase based on the exchange rate between the local currencies to the US Dollar. • Marigot - Orient Bay Beach Transfer

    Description

Leave the SeaDream pier at Marigot and enjoy a scenic drive of approximately 25 minutes before arriving at one of the island's most beautiful and well-known beaches, Orient Bay Beach. The transfer concludes at the conveniently located central section of Orient Bay Beach - Orient Bay is one of the nicest and longest beaches on the island, approximatly 2 ½ km of golden sand boarding the Atlantic Sea. Located on the north eastern part of the island, it is certainly the most animated with all its watersports facilities. You will spend a memorable time at the beach. We take our SeaDreamers to a section of Orient Bay called Waikiki Beach (named after the restaurant here and also offering great food). You will find several bars, cafes, water sport rental stands (parasailing, hobbies, jet skis) here. For your orientation, the southern portion is St Martin's (in) famous nude beach, while the northern end popular with windsurfers. You'll have approximately three hours to do as you please: walk the beach, browse some of the shops, enjoy a snack and some people watching at one of the cafes, or partake of the water sport activities available. Then re-board the transfer vehicle where you first arrived at "Waikiki" for your return to the SeaDream pier in Marigot. This is a great way to "soak up some of the local color" and still have the afternoon for shopping in Marigot.

    Notes

Notes The cost includes transport, escort, beach chair and one umbrella shared by two persons, one drink (rum or fruit punch) and use of the beach showers, changing rooms and restrooms. • Falmouth Bay - Helicopter flight to Montserrat Volcano

    Description

This is a unique, rare and exclusive opportunity to visit and tour Montserrat, and to witness an active volcano from a safe but close up. Whilst the volcanic Exclusion Zone covers the entire south-eastern half of the island, as well as extending four kilometers off-shore along the eastern coast to what is known as the Maritime Exclusion Zone, there are various vantage points from where it is possible to view the volcano and the destruction it has wrought on the island. Visitors can learn about its geological origins and history as well as view the volcano from safe locations around the island. You will met at the ship by your tour guide and driven to the helicopter pad 30 minutes away from St John’s. Here you will board your awaiting private helicopter for a fully narrated and truly memorable and unique Montserrat Volcano tour. On this 45-minute, pilot-narrated flight, you will fly to Montserrat to tour its "Exclusion Zone", an area covering 80 sq. kms made off-limits to both ground transportation and habitation. This makes the helicopter the only way to get an up-close look at the Soufriere Hills Volcano. The volcano rises to 3,000 feet above sea level and frequently emits a combination of ash, smoke and steam. Survey the massive Tar River Gorge and Delta found 1,000 feet below, which has formed as a result of pyroclastic flows. You'll witness what's left of small villages devastated by past eruptions before touring the charred remains of Plymouth, the country’s former capital, now uninhabited and in some places buried under 40 feet of ash. On the seaside, observe the former location of the W.H. Bramble Airport - abandoned after the 1997 eruptions. Portions of this airport, including the runway were still visible until the partial dome collapse of February 11th, 2010, which buried what was left. Your adventure ends back in Antigua with a bird's eye view of your beautiful SeaDream yacht!

    Notes

Route may vary due to weather and volcanic activity. The max weight to participate is 230 lbs per person, max height is 6' 4".  Actual flying time is approximately 45 to 50 minutes.
