SeaDream just may be the only commercial vessel that calls to Fajardo Bay anchoring meters from the El Conquistador Resort. Here you have several land adventure options including Resort Golf, Scuba, Bio Bay and a full resort pass (fee required) that includes the water park and the resorts private Island. Mountain Bikes can also be used to explore the picturesque coast line of Puerto Rico.
Vieques is part of the United States Commonwealth of Puerto Rico (USCW), but, like the rest of Puerto Rico, retains strong influences from 400 years of Spanish ownership. Its two main towns are Isabel Segunda the administrative center on the northern side of the island, and Esperanza on the southern side. At peak, the population of Vieques is around 10,000. The island's name is a Spanish spelling of an American Indian word (likely Taíno) said to mean "small island". It also has the nickname "Isla Nena", usually translated from the Spanish as "Little Girl Island", alluding to its perception as Puerto Rico's little sister. Today the former navy land is a national wildlife refuge, with numerous beaches that still retain the names given by the navy, including Red Beach, Blue Beach, Green Beach and others. The beaches are commonly listed among the top beaches in the Caribbean for their azure-colored waters and white sands. SeaDreamers can visit the very unique Bio Bay in the evening via an old school bus (the only bus on the island) This adventure is always receiving great reviews. Guests can also stroll the small town or go for a nice bike ride to one of the magnificent beaches.
Perhaps our most treasured destination in the Caribbean! This small island belonging to the French West Indies has so much to offer our SeaDream guests. Incredible shopping only steps away from pier. Incredible beaches, resorts, restaurants and activities both day and night. SeaDream has created various land adventures for you to discover the island from sea or land. Ask one of the officers to take you on a hike or bike ride around the island. Another great activity here is to simply relax and watch all of the incredible yachts arriving and departing just off your SeaDream yacht.
This British Overseas Territory is becoming more popular due to the incredible resort options as well as world recognized beaches and incredible golf. SeaDream offers an opportunity to tee off, swim with dolphins or for the energetic, bike around the island with the Captain or Club Director. Naturally we will also offer water sports while we are anchored off Sandy Ground.
Foxy's Tamarind Bar, located in the Great Harbor on tiny Jost Van Dyke (JVD).Foxy's, certainly one of the most infamous beach bars in the world, is located in the north east corner of the harbor with its own dock. Here's the chance to get one for yourself and create some great memories (although probably foggy) with your crew.
Norman Island is located at the southern tip of the British Virgin Islands. It could very well be the very same island reputed to be the inspiration for Robert Louis Stevenson's pirate novel Treasure Island. It is said that the island was named after a pirate who purchased it at some point during the early 18th century. The island is uninhabited and privately owned by Dr Henry Jarecki. Its area is about 600 acres (2.4 km²), and it is about 2.5 miles (4 km) long. A large harbor known as "The Bight" offers one of the most protected anchorages in the area. Guests will enjoy some great hiking opportunities as well as snorkeling and scuba diving. Another popular option may be to check out the Willie T that is generally anchored in the harbor or simply have a beverage at the Pirates Bight Bar.
This marina on Tortola's West End, retains its quaint charm while being a center of activity and voted the best marina in the BVIs. Soper's Hole imparts a great sense of place and physical intimacy and is considered one of the most picturesque marinas in the Caribbean. SeaDream is offering several land adventures including, snorkeling, scuba diving, land rover safari and swimming with the dolphins. For guests wanting some extra activity, ask the Captain or Club Director to set up a bike ride to Road Town along the coastal road. For guests wanting to simply shop or explore the marina, we suggest checking out Pusser’s Landing along with the cute boutiques.
Nearly every publication written about Virgin Gorda will emphasize the need to visit “The Baths” – don’t miss it! SeaDream generally arrives early and anchor’s off Spanish Town to give guests an early start to view the baths before all of the tourists arrive from the neighboring Islands. You may also consider excellent Scuba Diving options or an opportunity to swim with the dolphins. After our short “technical stop” to dispatch land adventures and clearance with the officials. SeaDream navigates scenically up the coast and arrives to North Sound to anchor just off the Bitter End Yacht Club. Here we offer water sports, land adventures, hiking options with the officers and tenders to the Bitter End! Depending on the voyage, you may also visit Prickly Pear Island for another signature Champagne and Caviar Splash option with an incredible setting.
The capital and largest city in the U.S. Virgin Islands. It has two ports of call for cruise vessels, Havensight and Crown Bay. SeaDream yachts are almost always docked at Crown Bay which is very close to the airport. In the event the yachts call to the island as a port of call rather than an embarkation point, you will find the yacht anchored in the bay and tendering downtown. The island has loads of history, beautiful beaches a fantastic golf course and incredible shopping options.

Esperanza, Vieques Island

Bioluminescent Bay Encounter

Hidden along the Caribbean coast on the Island of Vieques, Puerto Rico is one of the most spectacular bioluminescent bays in the world. Tiny organisms known as dinoflagellates create the mysterious blue-green light. A trip into the bay is a magical and educational experience. Fish flash by in the dark water, the milky way arches overhead, and kicking your legs in the water is like moving them through stardust. This amazing experience is operated via a non-polluting electric boat staffed by a knowledgeable and entertaining captain and crew who explain the delicate balance of this rare ecosystem. As of November 1, 2011, The Department of Natural Resources no longer allows the opportunity for extended swimming in the bio bay. They have also reduced the amount of guests per boat per departure. Do not miss this amazing experience, which is suitable and recommended for all ages.

Notes Although this adventure has been offered in the past, it may not be available on all voyages. Swimming may be allowed and guests may want to plan for it, wear your swimsuit under a cover up; sandals or flip-flops work well for footwear. Access back onto the boat is eased by the availability of a ladder. The trip on the bay operates onboard a US Coast Guard certified pontoon boat equipped with an electric motor. Seating is available on the pontoon boat but there are no changing facilities, showers or restrooms onboard. The trip will operate in case of light to moderate rain. The boat is not covered but rain should not deter you from participating. Local school buses will provide the short transportation to and from the pier. These are not air-conditioned and not overly comfortable as you travel over a dirt road. However, the bus journey is limited to only about 10 minutes each way. With advance notice, persons requiring the assistance of a wheelchair can be accommodated. A minimum number of participants are required to operate this adventure. Participation on this adventure is strictly limited so early reservations are strongly recommended. Bring a towel and a bottle of water. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures and some have limited capacity. Island Information

On most visits to this island, SeaDream is planning an evening stop at this tiny community along Vieques south coast. It is the ideal gateway to explore the amazing bioluminescent bay only a short distance to the east of town. The SeaDream tender will bring you right to the center of this small village. From the pier you can take a walk along the waterfront promenade or visit a handful of little shops. There are also a couple of bars and pleasant restaurants all within walking distance. There will be time for a stroll in this laid-back Caribbean community but do not miss the opportunity to sign up for the visit to the amazing "Bio-Bay!"

Fajardo

Bioluminescent Bay

This is a SeaDreamYachting Land Adventure that you may never forget!!! Under the blanket of night sky and the historical lighthouse of Fajardo you can touch the waters that glow with bioluminescent micro-organisms. Your activity starts at sunset in the small fishing village of Las Croabas. Here you will be met by your friendly eco-guides who will get you into your PFD (Personal Flotation Device) and situated in your back rest equipped two person kayaks. Your two Team Captains will be bringing along all necessary safety equipment, lights and refreshments. The lead Team Captain gives a thorough pre-ride training covering all aspects of the adventure and operation of the kayaks. You will paddle across the small fishermen's cover to the entrance of the Las Cabezas de San Juan Reserve. Here you enter a mystical channel that leads to a peaceful place where the mangroves create natural tunnels and the sights and sounds of wildlife surround you. During this 15 to 20 minute paddle through the mangrove your lead Captain will stop periodically to give commentary regarding the following points of interest: "• Mangrove forests. "• Bird life that inhabits the area. "• Marine life that uses the lagoon as a sanctuary. "• Information on the bioluminescent micro-organisms that give the water its mysterious light. "• Information on visible stars. After traversing this area you will enter the lagoon called Laguna Grande where you will paddle along the edge of the mangrove forest where you will watch the sparkling swirls of water created by the paddles' flow through the water and search for streaks of light created by darting fish. At this point a break is taken for about fifteen minutes under the starry skies for views of the rainforest, the lighthouse, and good conversation. Following this stop a direct return is made to the departure site for refreshments.

Horseback Riding in the Foothills of the Rainforest

Bilingual guides accompany every group on the trail ride through the lush tropical foothills of the El Yunque Rainforest, along the banks of the Mameyes River, into the very heart of the legendary Puerto Rican countryside. You'll love the gentle, but spirited, Paso Fino horses featured. Some have described the Paso Fino, which is not a large breed of horse, as being somewhat like a Tennessee Walker, in that it provides one of the smoothest rides imaginable.

Notes Please Note: • There is a 250-pound weight limit for anyone wishing to ride. Children under the age of 5 and pregnant women should not plan on participating in this activity. • Beginner, intermediate and advanced riders are welcome. Basic riding instruction is conducted prior to ride. • Riders will be asked to sign a waiver before departing on this excursion. Long pants are recommended, and closed toe shoes are a must. Wear a bathing suit underneath your clothing if you would like to take a dip in the river. After your refreshing plunge, we suggest that you sun dry, or bring a towel along. El Yunque Rainforest Visit with Trail Walk

El Yunque is the 3500' peak within Puerto Rico's Caribbean National Forest. Currently a finalist in the New 7 Wonders of Nature, this forest's name derives from the Indian word "Yuqui" meaning white land, but was changed by the Spanish to "Yunque" which means anvil. When the peak is viewed from the north, it actually resembles an anvil (the iron block on which metal pieces are hammered). The rainforest, covering 28,000 acres, contains 75% of the virgin forests left in Puerto Rico. The entire area is a bird sanctuary and holds claim to being the only tropical rainforest in the U.S. National Forest System. Thanks to receiving 100 billion gallons of rain per year, the forest is able to sustain some 250 species of trees, 50 types of ferns and as many as 20 varieties of wild orchids. In addition to the flora and fauna, El Yunque is also home to an array of Puerto Rican wildlife. Within the forest, there are many trees known to be over 1000 years old. There is the Tabonuco forest with trees reaching heights in excess of 100'. The Colorado forest contains the short, gnarled trees with hollowed trunks. Sierra Palms with their unusual yet distinctive root systems grow in abundance, as do the huge tropical ferns (some ferns grow over 40' tall). There are also giant hardwoods and bamboo groves in this "nature wonderland". El Yunque is home to a variety of local Puerto Rican wildlife, but perhaps the most famous would be the Amazona Uttata and the CoquU (Ko-kee). The former is better known as the Puerto Rican Parrot. It is an endangered species, very near extinction, so to see this red, blue and green beauty is a rare treat. The latter, El CoquU, is not only the national mascot, but also a source of national pride. Growing to be only " to 1" in size, it gets his name from the cricket-like mating call that literally sings his name, Co-Qui-i-i-i! Exclusive to Puerto Rico, they can be found in great numbers throughout the island. However, even though the Puerto Rican tree frog can be easily heard, he can be difficult (though not impossible) to find! Your rainforest visit includes a photo stop at La Coca Falls as well as another at the Yokahu Lookout Tower. NATURE HIKE Explore the rainforest in-depth with an informative and educated hiking adventure guide. The low-impact 25-minute walk on the BaU±o Grande Hiking Trail will allow for a genuine hands-on experience that you will never forget. The hike begins at the Palo Colorado Information Center, a good spot to see hummingbirds and bananaquits. The trail then passes the BaU±o Grande, a large man-made pool built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the 1930's. From there, the trail enters the Palo Colorado forest, one of four forest types in El Yunque Rainforest. Hikers will take a close look at the various types of flora and fauna here and hopefully see some of the local birds EL PORTAL Stop in to visit El Portal. El Portal, which is Spanish for "gateway", is just that, a gateway to knowledge about tropical forests, in particular El Yunque. This center gives visitors a better understanding of the needs and complexities of tropical forests and the practices required for their sound management and preservation. Located within the entrance to El Yunque, the facility is modern and airy, as it was constructed to blend into the natural surroundings. Large, open plazas and patios overlook the forest and Atlantic Ocean. Visitors can enjoy listening to a nearby stream and jungle sounds played over the audio system, as well as the mood lighting on the foliage. All of these elements were considered in order to celebrate the bond between people and nature. Inside the center, 12,000 square feet of exhibit space is devoted to explaining the importance of tropical forests in general. Three pavilions offer information through interactive exhibits and bilingual displays. Also, you will have the opportunity to view a 12-minute film narrated by Jimmy Smits, the actor, which discusses the history of the El Yunque, some of the species you will encounter with an emphasis on the Puerto Rican Parrot and the challenges the forest rangers face in preserving them. The staff of El Portal will also be on hand to provide further information on the center and the rainforest. This is a SeaDream Land Adventure that you will charish!

Norman Island

Snorkeling at Treasure Island

This delightful snorkel trip includes a scenic boat journey between the British Virgin Islands to the famed Caves at Norman Island with a reputed history of piracy and immortalized in Robert Louis Stevenson's famous book: "Treasure Island". Norman Island has a rich documented history of acting as a hiding spot for pirate booty. Documented history for the island dates back to the early 18th century when a Spanish treasure galleon called Nuestra Senora de Guadelope buried 55 chests of silver coins after the crew mutinied aboard the ship. Although much of the treasure has been discovered by Tortolan residents and later by Leiutenant-Genearal of the Leeward Islands, Gilbert Fleming, more pirate treasure is rumored to exist today on Norman Island. The adventure begins with boarding a twin-engine Snorkel Launch for a scenic 35-minute ride across the scenic Sir Francis Drake Channel to two of the B.V.I.'s prime snorkel sites. Your experienced Snorkel Instructor will take you snorkeling at the uninhabited and legendary Caves at Treasure Point (Norman Island) where pirate treasure is said to have been hidden! A second snorkel stop is planned at the pristine surroundings at The Indians before returning back to your SeaDream Yacht.

Notes Alternative Snorkel Locations may be selected according to sea and weather conditions. Masks, snorkels and snorkel vests are provided as well as instruction for novices. Approximately 1 1/2 hours snorkel time Drinking water is available on board We recommend that you bring a towel, sunscreen and wear your swimwear. North Sound, Virgin Gorda

The Baths

This is the "Must-see & Do" land adventure on Virgin Gorda, if not in the entire British Virgin Islands. Open-air safari wagons will take you and your fellow SeaDreamers on a short twenty minute ride through the village of Spanish Town to discover The Baths, an intriguing group of sea caves and unusual rock formations, spectacularly set on an amazing beach. From the parking area follow the winding footpath down to the beach to explore this geological wonder. Wade knee deep through the sea caves formed by mammoth boulders and bask in the shafts of sunlight pouring through the natural ceiling into the pools below. Learn about the boulders' origins and the many curious names given to the rock formations. Swim, relax and enjoy the ambiance of this piece of paradise. Then, retrace your footprints in the sand and ascend the path for a refreshing fruit punch before departing via the safari wagons for a scenic island drive over Gorda Peak, with stunning views to the north side, where a tender awaits to transfer you back to your SeaDream yacht.

Notes Please bring swimwear, towel and sunscreen. The portion of the adventure involving actual exploration of the cave area can be considered strenuous to some so set your own pace; do as much or as little as you wish. Guests who prefer to enjoy the beach during this portion of the adventure are welcome to do so! We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes as the footpath to The Baths is uneven.
