Founded by Croats more than a thousand years ago, the town of Sibenik has its first records dating from the year of 1066. The well-preserved historical core of the town has numerous architectural structures and monuments to discover. Also surrounded by its ancient fortresses, you will see the renaissance Cathedral of St. Jacob, as well as scenic narrow streets and numerous churches scattered around the town. Your guided walking tour travels through the old part of the town where you will see the finest sites including the Cathedral of St. Jacob, the outside of the City Hall, the Baroque Orthodox Church, and the historic center with its stone streets, commercial and crafts center.

After the walking tour you will depart Sibenik by comfortable motorcoach traveling along the Adriatic Coastline toward Town of Primosten. This settlement south of Šibenik, is located on an islet not far away from the mainland. During the period of Turkish invasions the islet was protected by defense walls with towers and a movable bridge built in 1542.
Primošten is also well-known for a famous red-grape variety called "Babić grapes". And a picture featuring Primošten’s vineyards is permanently exhibited in the building of the United Nations in New York.

After a panoramic view of Primosten, you drive inland to the small picturesque Village of Burni. Observe along the way how locals have transformed this rocky terrain into an oasis of fertile, hospitable living. Visit the historic village homes and enjoy a refreshing rest in the shade of surrounding trees. Your village host will serve a delicious lunch accompanied by traditional local music.
