Menorca Hiking Adventure

Menorca Hiking Adventure

Hiking is perhaps the perfect way to discover the beauty of the island of Menorca—a World Biosphere Reserve. With an intensely interesting history carved into the landscape throughout the ages, Menorca offers virtually endless possibilities for trekking and the characteristics of the landscape are so varied that every walker will find a route practically made to measure. The north coast offers some of the most stunning hiking trails on the island. You’ll take the route that connects Cala Pregonda. The first stop will be at Cala Mica, where a narrow beach offers the first chance to enjoy the crystalline waters of Menorca. From there the walk continues to Binimel-là Beach. Here, fine and coarse sands are deposited together by the winter tramontana winds, but in summer the sea is very calm and the water clear and fresh. Another 90 minutes of walking brings you to Cala Pregonda’s coastal scenery of rocky outcroppings and picture postcard crescent of golden sand. There’s time to relax here to enjoy a swim in the turquoise water and eat your snack brought from the yacht before returning onboard.
