Cap Spartel & The Fantasia Show
Tangiers sits at the crossroads between Europe and Africa and is filled with a diversity of people, sights, smells and cultures. Journey with your small group of SeaDreamers through Tangiers and along the seaside boulevard to the Cap Spartel area. A brief stop is made at the Hercules Caves for a quick stroll and a photo opportunity before continuing on to the Fantasia Show. Housed in a tent, acrobats and belly dancers begin the show along with live regional music. Outside the tent the horses take center stage and delight you with their formations and trickery. After this performance, two camels are available nearby for another photo opportunity while tea, cookies and soft drinks are served. Return to the Tangier medina (old town) area for a short walk to the Kasbah, where you'll visit The Kasbah Museum. The museum in located in a 17th-century palace that dominates this part of the old town, and exhibits are displayed in the old apartments that surround the complex's lovely courtyard or patio. Afterward stroll through the medina and souks before driving back to SeaDream.
Notes: In order to keep this adventure fun and intimate, SeaDream will assign no more than 20 guests for each local guide. We believe this adventure today offers what we believe to be the highlights of the city. It is probable at the end of your visit you will find yourself in a carpet shop. You must not linger as the yacht will be departing on schedule. Please note the tent for the Fantasia show is non-air-conditioned. Conservative dress is suggested. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures and some have limited capacity. This program is booked onboard only so please make your reservations as soon as possible after boarding to avoid disappointment.
