Cap Corse Scenic Overview

Cap Corse Scenic Overview

Until the end of the 19th century when Napoleon III ordered the rebuilt of the coach road, this long peninsula called the Cap Corse was cut from the rest of island. It became then one of the favourite destinations for its wonderful and very typical wild landscape.

During the the excursion, passengers will discover a real mountain in the sea, with cut little bays & sea resorts, high perched villages made of green and grey stones. Cap Corse is really the only place in Corsica where people live from agriculture and fishing!

Stop in nice places like Erbalunga lovely marina beloved by French romantics, drive through the small marinas of Sisco, Pietracorbara, Porticciolo. Leave the coast for a short drive in the mountain in direction of Luri, and join the west side of the Cap Corse in Pino. Admire the fascinating view on the green hills and the deep blue sea.

Next stop will be Nonza, built on a black rocky pinnacle dropping vertically into the sea.
Go for a little walk to the famous square tower.

A few kilometres after Nonza, you will find the most reputed place in Corsica regarding wine production: the Patrimonio region before driving back to St Florent.
