Jeep Lagoon and Snorkeling
See beautiful Antigua on this adventurous off-road safari in open 4 x 4 jeeps. Take in the tropical scenery as you head away from the SeaDream pier where your yacht is anchored. Your driver-guide will provide commentary along the way. Points of interest on this land adventure include; Fort George, originally built in the early 1700s and located atop Monk's Hill " accessible by a rough drive uphill. From this height, marvel at the spectacular views of Falmouth and English Harbors. Other highlights include a drive through dirt trails leading to the Potworks Dam and Betty's Hope former plantation, then through Fig Tree Drive, Antigua's Tropical Forest. Upon arrival at the Eco Park, receive a welcome briefing before undertaking the lagoon challenge by kayak or pedal boat through the watercourses cut among the various mangroves. The trails exit on a secluded beach where you can have a refreshing drink, soak up the sun, swim, or board the motor launch to Cades Reef for a magnificent snorkeling experience.
Notes: Please wear cool comfortable clothing, sun hat, sunscreen. You may want to underdress a swim suit and please bring a beach towel. A minimum participation is required to operate all Yachting Land Adventures and some have limited capacity. This program is booked onboard only so please make your reservations as soon as possible after boarding to avoid disappointment.
