Seville offers a wide variety of compelling and famous sights. We will enjoy an extensive panoramic ride before we visit the two most famous and important monuments of Andalusia's capital " the Alcazar and the Cathedral. Our tour starts with a panoramic drive around Seville, which is one of the "jewels in the crown of Europe' and is considered to be on a par with Venice and Florence. It offers a rich heritage and has been a symbol of tolerance between Arabic, Jewish and Christian cultures. We will have photo-stops at sights such as the Plaza America, Plaza de España, which is entirely covered in decorative ceramic tiles, and Maria Luisa Park. Next our guide will take us to the Alcazar, a 14th-century fortress-palace built in Moorish style by a Christian King, Peter the Cruel. The marvellous architecture, intricate decorations, fragrant gardens and sparkling fountains are sure to make our visit memorable. We will also visit the Cathedral of Seville. This monument has been renowned as the largest place of worship in Spain and one of the largest in the world, it boasts a lavish interior. Outside stands La Giralda, an imposing 322-foot tower, formerly a Moorish-style minaret from a mosque that once stood on this site. We will then take a stroll through the old Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz, with its labyrinth of narrow streets, wrought-iron grilled windows, whitewashed buildings and tiled patios. Murillo, the great Spanish Renaissance painter, was born in this part of the city. Enjoy some free time to have a few tapas in the old town, or to look for souvenirs.
